Bush dry bean. Orca beans are also known as Yin Yang or Calypso beans. We love their strong black & white motif. Strong plants are sturdy and easy to grow. Eat as a dry bean in soups, refried beans and more.

We originally received these seeds from High Desert Seed + Gardens.

Planting Instructions: Sow directly in the ground 2" deep, 4-5" apart in spring after all danger of frost has passed. Keep moist until germinated. No trellis needed. 

Seed Saving Instructions: Allow pods to fully dry on the vine. Pick dried pods into a bin and crush to dislodge beans. Store beans in a paper or mesh bag to ensure they dry fully and remain dry.
