This tool is an improved version of the classic garden fork or digging fork. It can be used for turning over and breaking up soil, breaking through soil thick with weeds and roots, tearing out small shrubs, aerating garden beds, and harvesting root crops.

Excellent for small-scale intensive agriculture and landscaping. The 5-Tine Mini Fork can be stood upon to push the tines deep into the soil. The T-handle allows for the full weight of the upper body to be applied to the tool and for the tool to be easily bent back to lift soil and vegetation.

The tool should be cleaned regularly with steel wool, coconut, or linseed oil and should not be stored outdoors or in high humidity, as rusting may occur.

The tines of the fork (not the handles) are made from AR-400 grade steel. This alloy exhibits high abrasion resistance (AR) and hardness. Adding carbon and manganese, as well as quenching and tempering, increase the steel's hardness and create a durable, impact-resistant surface. It is used in applications where abrasive materials such as grains, coal, ore, cement, gravel, light aggregate, and earth are being handled.

  • Weight: 12.5 lbs

  • Length of tines: 12"
