ANNUAL RAISED BED GARDEN DESIGNS - YEAR-ROUND GARDENING

This 27-page, Annual Raised Bed Garden Design book (available as an e-book) takes the guesswork out of annual gardening and is ideal for USDA hardiness zones 3-9.  Each design was thoughtfully planned out by Lauren Craig, Certified Permaculture Designer, who specializes in organic, regenerative food production and edible landscaping. The designs included have been created for 4, 4'x8' raised beds for both spring and summer as well as fall and winter planting! If you don't have a raised bed setup, fear not! The designs included are easily adaptable to any annual garden setup. 

Each design is meticulously curated to optimize plant health, growth, and yield, taking into consideration the specific needs and preferences of different plants and utilizing companion planting principles. Alongside the designs, you'll find the invaluable resource of planting dates, shopping lists, and a rotational plan. The planting dates pinpoint the optimal time to sow seeds or transplant seedlings for each crop, ensuring that you have a well-timed and flourishing garden throughout the year (planting dates are for zone 6B; simply add or subtract the number of weeks your zone differs from the "last-frost" date of April 27th to determine accurate planting dates for your "grow zone"). The shopping lists provide a convenient reference for procuring all the necessary materials (trellises, stakes, etc.) and plants to bring your garden to life, raised bed by raised bed. The rotational plan helps you maintain soil health and prevent diseases by strategically rotating the crops in each bed; season-by-season, year-by-year! Additionally, suggestions are made for succession planting, season-extension, organic pest control options, as well as substitutions for each plant so that you can tailor each raised bed to your personal preferences! Detailed crop information is noted for each crop to provide you with the knowledge you need to make the most of your bountiful garden!
